ANOTHER PRA & PAMIA training for MSW Students
Participatory Rural Appraisal and Protected Area Mutual Interaction assessment Conducted for MSW Students of Perumabur JAYABHARATH College in the First Week of Sept. 2012
21 Students participated with 2 faculties
Parasseri village of Kollengode Forest range in Nemmara Forest division was selected for PRA Practices,.
In the valley of Nelliampathy, Students could bring a clear picture of the village and the absolute information for Microplanning process of Parasseri VSS- vana samrakshana samithi.
Aashrayam and Team led the program with Good Accommodation in Elavencheri itself.
Visit to Original "Tharavadu" of former Minister Mr. Sasi Tharur Was wonderful experience.
Trekking in the forest with forest officials was a great experience - according to the participants.

MSW Rural camp came to an end
MSW Rural camp came to an end on 27.1.2012. Many Social Work and Educational programs at Muthalamada area. The camp was organized by Aashrayam Rural Development Society for Master in Social Work Students of Nehru college, Coimbatore.
Medical camp at Pallam school, Health and Socio-economic survey at Muthalamada area, Cleaning program at Chulliar medu school, etc etc were performed by the team. In addition to this eminent guests from various fields such as Social service, Environment, Rationalist Thinking, spiritual filed successfully presented their views & ideas and brought a clear picture and scope for MSW persons in the society.
